This is mostly a technical proof of concept and the story is not done - but if people like it I will finish it.  I had a lot of fun making it! 

I'm interested in using video to tell stories. I made this while I was recovering from burnout on another project.  If people like the idea I might do another project like this with better video quality, or remaster this one.

You play as Dr. Elena Reeves, a xenobiologist at a desert research facility that studies tentacled creatures pulled through rifts from somewhere else. What begins as an ordinary morning — coffee with her husband, the long drive out to the institute — escalates when one of the specimens starts trying to communicate. Over two days, the branching narrative follows Elena through her work, her marriage, and the creeping realization that something inside the containment wing has noticed her back. The demo ends on a cliffhanger.
